The mission of YouAreHere is to support and elevate local artists. Founded by Gabriel Sanford, who understands firsthand the challenges faced by emerging artists, YouAreHere is dedicated to fostering a thriving creative community. In collaboration with Kimberly Bagley, Gabriel is working to expose more local talent to the public through strategic initiatives such as social media outreach and Second Saturdays.

Our future goals include expanding our reach by securing additional venues for artist promotion and extending our impact from Downtown Sacramento to the Roseville and Folsom areas. We are committed to assisting local artists in realizing their full potential by providing both financial and material support. We aim to collect donations of funds and art supplies to help alleviate the financial barriers that many artists face in acquiring the necessary tools for their craft.

In addition to providing resources, we strive to empower artists with the skills needed to navigate the business side of their careers. This includes offering guidance on creating professional CVs, resumes, and portfolios. While emerging artists often have no trouble producing their work, many face uncertainty when it comes to the next steps—how to market and sell their art once it's complete. Our mission is to provide them with the tools and knowledge to promote themselves effectively and succeed in the art market.
